Though this movie may somehow seem like a “sport-oriented” movie but that’s just on the surface. As you progress through the movie, you will find this film inspiring and emotional and worth your time. Facing the Giants taps on every emotion: bringing about joy, sadness, anger, confusion, peace, humor…but most of all HOPE that is found in Christ alone!

It was an awesome movie. I laughed. I cried. I clapped. I cheered. I smiled! At times, I was on the edge of my seat! The message is truly inspirational. Reminds me a lot of “Remember the Titans” but faith-based. The movie stays away from the usual Hollywood hype. It’s clean, no sidetracking on meaningless words, bad language, or other things that detract from the plot or overall movie.

They don’t shy away from talking about God or praying. It has down-home charm and a feel-good quality. The main message of the movie: “All things are possible with God,” is a great message everyone, including Christians, needs to be reminded of periodically.

I also observed that they gave emphasis on “The Power of Prayer.” From this line, “If we win we praise Him and if we lose we praise Him!” They really give reverence to the Almighty Father, acknowledging he is the true and mighty God!

As what I’ve said earlier, they really stuck to give emphasis on praying. Every action/scene done in the movie had one way or another involved praying and communicating with God! And all praises to Him, you will really see in the movie that truly God answers our prayers, only if you are faithful enough to believe and trust in Him.

If you know someone who is struggling against the giants we face in life, or a couple who is struggling to make ends meet, or struggling to have a child, or just someone who needs to be encouraged, INVITE THEM TO WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!
